These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Student," "User," or "You") and Vanguard TEFL, a professional certification program operated under Vanguard Prairie Group ("we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of https://www.vanguardtefl.com, our online learning management portal, and all associated educational content, assessments, and credential verification services.

By purchasing course access, creating an account, or accessing our platform, you explicitly represent that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Course Enrollment, License & Lifetime Access

Upon successful payment of the course enrollment fee, Vanguard TEFL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and complete the 168-Hour online TEFL curriculum for personal educational purposes.

• Lifetime Access: You receive unlimited, self-paced lifetime access to complete the training modules, review instructional lesson materials, and access future course updates.
• Single-User License: Each enrollment is strictly licensed to one individual. Account sharing, credential pooling, selling, or transferring account logins to third parties is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination.
• Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate internet connectivity and compatible browser software to access the course portal.

3. Pricing, Payments & No Hidden Fees

Course fees are clearly stated on our homepage and checkout portal in United States Dollars ($USD). The standard one-time enrollment fee is $97 USD (or promotional pricing if actively applied during checkout).

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. There are zero recurring monthly subscriptions, hidden exam retake fees, or annual certificate maintenance charges. Your payment is a one-time charge for comprehensive course and certification access.

To maintain the highest standards of international teacher accreditation, students must adhere to the following academic principles:

• Independent Coursework: All lesson modules, knowledge check quizzes, written assessment tasks, and the Final Examination must be completed personally and independently by the enrolled student.
• Passing Benchmark: To qualify for the 168-Hour TEFL Certificate, students must achieve the designated passing grade (typically 70% or higher) on all module assessments and the Final Examination. Students are permitted retakes at no extra charge if needed.
• Zero Tolerance for Academic Fraud: Using unauthorized automated bots, submitting plagiarized materials, attempting to manipulate source code, or impersonating another student is strictly prohibited. Falsification or tampering with digital certificates will result in immediate permanent revocation of the certificate and removal from our verification database.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All course curriculum, text, pedagogical methods, instructional videos, downloadable lesson plan templates, graphic designs, logos, quiz questions, and software code are the proprietary intellectual property of Vanguard TEFL and Vanguard Prairie Group, protected under international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, mirror, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any course materials without our prior express written permission. You may retain downloaded lesson templates solely for your personal classroom teaching preparation.

7. Accreditation Disclosure & Career Guidance Disclaimer

Accreditation: The Vanguard TEFL program is CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accredited and Level 5-aligned, meeting the rigorous 168-hour international standard for ESL instructor training. It is an independent professional development certification and is not an Ofqual-regulated UK government award.

Career & Earnings Disclaimer: Vanguard TEFL provides career guidance resources, resume and CV formatting guides, and interview strategy modules. However, we do not guarantee specific employment offers, work visas, residency permits, or specific wage levels (such as $15–$30/hour). Hiring decisions, compensation packages, and legal employment eligibility are determined entirely by independent hiring schools, overseas ministries of education, and online teaching platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vanguard TEFL and Vanguard Prairie Group provide the educational platform, course materials, and verification services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

In no event shall Vanguard TEFL, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the actual enrollment fee paid by you ($97.00 USD).

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith informal consultation by contacting info@vanguardtefl.com.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
